12:30 pm - 3:00 pm |
Our three day classes are designed for children who are four years old
as of September 1, 2009. Class size is typically 18 children with two
teachers. There are both morning and afternoon classes.
This class still builds on social development with more emphasis placed
on kindergarten readiness. The skills that your child will need to
thrive in kindergarten are woven into your child's day through hands-on
activities in the areas of language arts, prewriting, pre-math,
pre-literary, science and fine and large motor.
We also have a Three day option for three year old children. Class size
is 18 children with two teachers. |

Five Day Pre-K |
Monday
through Friday
9:15 am - 11:45 am |
|
|
Our Pre-K class is for children 4 and 5 years old, most of these
children will be going to kindergarten the following year. Daily
attendance gives the children a gift of TIME - time to expand growing
powers, time to test and retest emerging concepts and time to reinforce
growing skills. This class is designed to give children a sampling of
the many things they will be exposed to when they reach kindergarten. By
using Literacy awareness, Phonics and Whole Language techniques we can
present the materials in a way the is understood by the child. We want
the children to be prepared to go to kindergarten, but at the same time
we want them to have fun and enjoy themselves. |
